Washstands

Pine washstands for a holiday cottage situated in an old pilchard fishing cellar in Port Gaverne, North Cornwall. A sensitive restoration of a vintage pine washstand with the upstand infill replaced with some contemporary fish design tiles. This was one item of a themed set of designs picking up on the tile design (see Homewares - hooks and mirrors sections). The other, a different kind of upcycling with more of a 'shabby-chic' finish, together with quirky fish design drawer handles added.
