Fireplace surround

A timber fireplace surround and mantle for a holiday cottage on Pentire Head, North Cornwall.
The removal of an old Rayburn cooker during this cottage restoration left a feature alcove. The fire surround was made up from reclaimed oak and other timbers to create a 'period' look fireplace and mantle appropriate for this rural Victorian era farm labourer's cottage.
