Timber feature wall & headboard

Timber feature wall and bed headboard for bedrooms in a holiday cottage on Pentire Head, Polzeath.
The 'live-edge' (natural curves of the tree left on) timber boards were chosen from a local sawmill for the floor to ceiling headboard providing a dramatic, stylish timber feature wall that echoes the spirit of nature and sinuous natural forms of trees. Room decor colour-matched rivers of green paint run between the panels.
The smaller headboard uses a similar theme, this time in sawn oak spaced to reveal the colour theme green behind, to provide a simpler wall hung contemporary design.
