Boot room / lobby storage

A storage and seating area for a lobby area of a tiny, but high end, bothy cottage right on the cliffs near Trevose Head, North Cornwall. The brief was for a cabin feel and required a complex design to maximise storage whilst providing a seat for changing footwear and a radiator cover.
The main panelling is wide chestnut timber boards; the modular storage has been created by cladding FSC birch ply with reclaimed timber strips; the coat rack is reclaimed timber; a bedside shelf and further hooks were also made for the bedroom area in the adjacent space.
